Want to make powerful decisions? This week’s episode will help you reframe your approach to decision-making by using a mindset-based framework. You’ll also learn the 3 most important people you should consult when making decisions. Hey Everybody, how are you doing? I am recording this episode in mid-June, and I wanted to share some good news. I am still thrilled and honored by the experience – Adam Grant interviewed me on his WorkLife podcast that dropped this week. Adam is an organizational psychologist who takes you inside the minds of some of the world’s most unusual professionals to discover the keys to a better work-life. We talked about my brain injury, how I hid my vestibular disorder at work and how it ultimately led me to be fired. The response has been profound and cathartic for me. I’ve said before that I want to revolutionize the workplace. Part of that requires acknowledging when we must start with DE&I and get clear that becoming consciously inclusive is a mutual responsibility for all. Everyone should listen to this episode, whether you are disabled, lead teams, or are looking to expand your understanding of people and DE&I initiatives. I’ll put the link in the show notes. |
